Principle applicant is required to provide a Letter of Good Conduct from the Austrian authorities, if you have a Austrian passport.

Medical Report
Upon approval of the application, all applicants and dependents are required to do a basic medical for the presence of any communicable diseases at any private hospital or clinic in Malaysia.

Medical Insurance
All applicants and dependents need to be medically insured by a Malaysia-based insurance company. Cost: RM600 and above, depending on age, gender, etc. Incidentally, this requirement is waived for all applicants 59 years and up.

Minimum Stay
MM2H holders need to be in Malaysia for a total of 90 days per year.

Restrictions
Employment is not permitted whilst in Malaysia. However, MM2H holders over 50 years of age can submit a request to work part-time. Typically, this request is approved.

Lastly, please note that MM2H holders are expected to refrain from activities that may be considered sensitive to the Malaysia population and/or a liability to the security of Malaysia.
